Many people continue to benefit from the ongoing surgical camp taking place at Kigezi Community Hospital premises which ends on 6th December 2024.

This event is organised in partnership with Chaperone International.

The turn up reflects the huge unmet need for medical services within our community which can be attributed to a number of factors that limit both the coverage and the utilisation of these services.

The management of Kigezi Community hospital is grateful to everyone whose involvement has made this event a success.

SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENT

Kigezi Community Hospital located in Kihihi Town Council in partnership with Surgeons from Germany under Chaperone International shall conduct a surgical camp from 2nd December 2024 to 7th December 2024 for patients with conditions such as Goitres, Hernias, Prostate enlargement, Cervical cancer, Fibroids, Cysts, etc

Registration of patients is ongoing at Kigezi Community Hospital.

Book early to be served earlier.

Friendly football match with Kihihi High School staff

This event took place at the Rolex Artificial Turf on Friday 22nd November 2024 at 2100hrs.
The game ended in a draw.

This event is in keeping with our Corporate social responsibility. It also aimed at promoting physical exercise among our staff so as reduce the risk of Cardiovascular diseases and promote mental health well being.

Grand Opening of Kigezi Community Hospital

This happened on 27th July 2024.

The area MP Hon. Kaberuka James graced the occasion as the guest of honor. Also in attendance were other political dignitaries including the local political leaders, representatives from office of the DHO, religious dignitaries and hundreds of people mostly from Kihihi and neighbouring areas.

After the hospital tour, speeches were held and the guest of honour thanked the proprietors for contributing to the development of the health sector in the area.

The day was marked by provision of free medical services to the people that turned up for the event.

Grand Opening of Kigezi Community Hospital on 27th July 2024.

Kigezi Community hospital takes this chance to invite you to witness its Grand Opening which will be hosted at the hospital premises.

The event is scheduled for one day of 27th/07/2024 starting from 0900hrs and will host a number of dignitaries who will bless the place and the occasion.

It will include a Health Screening exercise which will mainly focus on HIV screening, syphilis screening, Cervical cancer screening, prostate cancer screening, diabetes screening, Hypertension, and BMI measurement.

We are delighted to invite you to be part of this historic moment.

A few days after this we will hold a surgical camp from 5th-10th Aug 2024 for operating various surgical conditions including corns, lipomas, cysts, hydroceles, hernias, fibroids, etc again at the hospital premises.
